CLAVKEM TABLET
COMPOSITION: Each film coated tablet contains : Amoxycillin Trihydrate IP equivalent to Amoxycillin 250 mg / 500 mg / 875 mg, Potassium Clavulanate IP eq to Clavulanic acid 125 mg.
Indications: Lower Respiratory Tract Infections including pneumonia and empyema, intra-abdominal infections, peritonitis, pre-operative prophylaxis, post surgical infections, gynaecological surgery,non-invasive childhood diseases, perforated appendicitis.
Side effects: Mild in nature. Diarrhoea, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, candidiasis and pseudomembranous colitis, urticarial and erythematous rashes.
Precaution: In liver and renal function impairment, dosage to be adjusted.
Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to penicillins or any other component of the product.

CLAVKEM SUSPENSION / CLAVKEM DS SUSPENSION
COMPOSITION: Each 5 ml of reconstituted suspension contains Amoxicillin trihydrate IP eq to Amoxicillin 200/400 mg, Clavulanate potassium IP equivalent to Clavulanic acid USP 28.5/57 mg.
Indications: Lower Respiratory Tract Infections including pneumonia and empyema, intra-abdominal infections, peritonitis, pre-operative prophylaxis, post surgical infections, gynaecological surgery, non-invasive childhood diseases, perforated appendicitis.
Side effects: Mild in nature. Diarrhoea, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, candidiasis and pseudomembranous colitis, urticarial and erythematous rashes.
Precaution: In renal impairment, dosage to be adjusted.
Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to penicillins or any other component of the product.
Dosage and Administration: Neonates and infants aged < 12 weeks: 30 mg/kg/day divided q12h. Patients aged 12 weeks (3 months) and older: the dose varies from 20–45 mg/kg/day depending upon the severity of infection. KEMDOX – CV TABLET
Composition: Each tablet contains: Cefpodixime Proxetil IP Equivalent to Cefpodoxime 200 mg & PotassiumClavunate125mg .
Indications: Acute otitis media, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, community-acquired pneumonia, acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, acute maxillary sinusitis, acute uncomplicated urethral and cervical gonorrhea,uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections, uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
Adverse reactions: Diarrhea, nausea, headache, abdominal Pain, vulvovaginal infections .
Contraindications: Cefpodoxime proxetil is contraindicated in patients with a known allergy to cefpodoxime or to the cephalosporin group of antibiotics.
Precaution: Dose should be reduced in patient with renal insufficiency. Prolonged use of cefpodoxime proxetil may result in overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms.
